The Chicago Bears may of lost 2 of their last 3 games but quarterback Justin Fields looks much better as the Bears quarterback despite a weak supporting cast around him. Justin Fields in his last 3 games has looked really good throwing 6 touchdown passes against only 1 interception while also rushing for 3 touchdowns. In the Bears most recent game on Sunday where they lost to the Miami Dolphins at Soldier Field, Fields set a quarterback single game regular season rushing record with 178 yards where Michael Vick held the previous record of 173 yards while he was with the Atlanta Falcons in 2002 against the Minnesota Vikings. Justin Fields may be the Bears franchise quarterback they have been searching for a very long time but time will tell. I did like the Bears trading for last week former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool who is 6′ 4″ a nice big target needed for Justin Fields.
Justin Fields has been playing better lately also thanks to Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy who has been calling good games in the last 3 games where they have used Fields on designed quarterback runs along with rolling out the quarterback. While I don’t expect the Bears to be a playoff team this season as they are building for the future let’s see if Fields continues to get better and better and end the season on a high note.
