The Chicago Bulls are Back!!!!!!!!!!!

See what a difference it makes when the Chicago Bulls have a front office that knows what they are doing led by Arturas Karnisovas Executive Vice-President of Basketball Operations and new GM Marc Eversley who were able to hire former Oklahoma City Thunder Head Coach Billy Donovan.  The Thunder decided not to renew his contract and he became available and the Bulls were able to scoop him up right away.  For the last couple of years the Chicago Bulls were a laughing stock in the NBA with bad head coaches and a very bad front office, but glad that mess is cleaned up.  Bulls made some noise in the off season to form a better team to join the likes of Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic to make this team much stronger.  They signed guys like Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan both in sign and trades along with drafting Illinois guard Ayo Dosunmu who got first round talent in the second round.  DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine are both in the top 10 as of right now in scoring and both have been clutch in the 4th quarter.  As we speak the Bulls are second in the Eastern Conference behind the Brooklyn Nets and I really think this Bulls team can make a deep run in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.  It wouldn’t surprise me if Billy Donovan wins NBA Head Coach of the Year.

The Bulls are one of the few teams in the NBA this season to be in the 10 top both in scoring offense and scoring defense. The Bulls look so much improved on both sides of the court and it’s a huge key to be in the top 10 in both scoring offense and scoring defense.  What I love about this Bulls team is they are so well balanced between the likes of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic and even Ayo Dosunmu is chipping in huge minutes for the Bulls.  DeMar DeRozan won recently Eastern Conference Player of the Week for his performance from last week averaging about 30.3 points a game while shooting about 59% from the field while grabbing 5.7 rebounds a game.  This should finally be the season where Zach LaVine plays in the NBA Playoffs.  Bulls have been a lot of fun to watch despite second year player Patrick Williams suffering a gruesome wrist injury who is likely out for the season and unfortunately it’s a blow for the Bulls but I am sure they will manage it.  Bulls could make a mid season trade maybe for some front court depth after the Williams injury.  I am very glad the Bulls are back to being good again and hopefully one day they bring home championship #7 since the end of the Jordan days.  I think they are definitely heading in the right direction with this new front office led by Arturas Karnisovas and a smart coaching staff led by Billy Donovan.
